The McWilliam Family has been performing together for a labout a year. Together, they play Old Tyme Fiddle Music and Country. With the toe-tapping fiddle music, they add variety with Canadian Step-Dancing and some singing of Country Songs. They are non-profit, all proceeds that are given to the band are usally donated to the Dutton Bobier Villa, the local senior care centre, or a chariety of the choice of the "hire-ees". Some performances included the International Plowing Match, Children's International Milk Festival, Eastern Star Banquets, local parades, fairs, personal birthday parties, Shedden Rosy Rhubarb Days, Dutton Jamboree, and many more. Lauren has taken part in the Canadian Open Fiddle Contest in Shelburne for 3 yrs, as well as other fiddle contest in the province. The McWilliam Family likes to entertain, for the purpose of bringing back Canadian Old Tyme Fiddle heritage, and bring smiles to the audiences faces.
