Thamesview Stock Farm is located in the Great Lakes Region of South-Western Ontario Canada. My wife Susan and I along with our children Maryjo, Jason & Lauren farm around 700 acres of land. We have had Limousin Cattle since 1980 when we purchased 8 Limousin heifers from Wilbur Stewart at Big Valley Alberta. Those 8 heifers calved out 8 heifer calves, what a great start! We have assembled our cattle from leading breeders from around North America, many of which are here right in South-Western Ontario. In recent years we have concentrated on breeding Black Polled Limousin with a strong emphasis on quality. Susan and I decided to get into breeding paint horses. We have always had horses for pleasure and to help with the cattle.  Since then we have bought horses (including our stud, SPOTSDOTSANDMORE) from Alberta, Manitoba, and right here in Ontario. The turkey end of the farm consists of 17,000 heavy hens, most of which are sold to a large processor. Six years ago we started to market some of our own turkey product wholesale to stores in a 60-km radius from our farm gate; this business has grown 10 times since we started! The next move or so my son Jason says is to start to breed Blue Heeler cattle dogs! So please take a web page tour of our farming operation.
