Carrot Apple Delight...

  • INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 carrots chopped into small pieces

  • 3 apples chopped into small pieces

  • 1 cup of oatmeal

  • molasses

  • DIRECTIONS:

  • Drench the carrots and or apples in molasses. Roll them in oatmeal. Refrigerate.

Carrot Yummys

  • INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup oatmeal

  • 1cup of flour

  • 1 cup shredded carrots

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 2 tablespoons corn oil

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1/4 cup molasses

  • DIRECTIONS:

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Make little balls and put on sprayed cooking sheet. Bake at 350' until golden brown.

Fast 'N' Easy Horse Treats

  • For this recipe, just add the ingredients that you think your horse would enjoy. Add as much or as little as you want.

  • Oats (whole or rolled)

  • Dried Apple Treats

  • Apple Pieces

  • Carrots (cut up)

  • Alfalfa pellets

  • Molasses

  • Mix them up in a pail in the barn, and serve up a heaping scoop.  Hey, this would make a good treat on Christmas morning!
